We are a small and growing church with active education and fellowship programs for all ages, committed to growing as a community through God’s grace.

STAFF

Pastor Lee Seese is a sociable introvert who begins every day and most hours with prayer. He delights in the wondrous simplicity, complexity and completeness of God’s love for each person, the palpable presence of Christ among us, and the movement of the Holy Spirit in people he knows and those he doesn’t. Pastor Lee’s role as husband and father of five, and his passion for coffee and baseball, are intimately woven into his life and ministry.

Office Manager Clare Conrad is a thoughtful seeker and joyful singer who enjoys contemplative practice, beautiful typography, drawing, reading, birds, plants, and a good laugh with friends.

Music Director Chris Vincent, a gifted choral director who has an infinite range of musical passions, lived in Japan for five years and plays the koto. His harpsichord lives in the sanctuary.

Pianist/Organist Richard Grace is a musician who finds inspiration in the visual and aural feast around us, and has a special place in his heart for Icelandic music.

Youth Director Daniel Brown enjoys learning new things and is always on the lookout for inspiration, many times finding it in school, people, wilderness, movies, and music.

We share the building with Findlay Street Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), a congregation that is nesting here as they await God’s guidance following the sale of their church property in 2006, and with The Lake and Park School, a small, independent K-3 school founded by Camille Hayward.

The MBPPC Session (Board of Elders) has endorsed the mission of the Covenant Network of Presbyterians. This is one way that MBPPC embodies its commitment to the GLBT community in the Seattle area.
