Spiritual Development of Children and Adults

• Wednesday evening Contemplative Prayer. 7:00pm, Prayer Room

• Wednesday morning Men’s Bible study, 7:30-9am

• Saturday morning Bible study, 9:30-11am, Fellowship Hall. Child care provided.

• Tuesday morning Bible study, 9-10am

• Film Night. 2nd or 3rd Saturdays, 6:30pm, off site.
A film is shown on the second or third Saturday of the month for this film and faith series.
Popcorn and coffee provided; bring a dessert to share. Childcare is provided as needed.

• Youth Ministry at MBPPC: Spiritual formation/faith exploration, fun, service, relationshipsThe focus of the youth ministry at MBPPC is to support youth in exploring their questions about faith, growing closer to God through building relationships with adults in the congregation and other youth, and finding places to serve and grow in the congregation. 

Mentoring: Each youth is invited to develop a relationship with a mentor in the congregation.  Youth and mentors will meet 2-3 times a month at times that work for the pair.  A portion of their time together will be focused on spiritual formation (Bible study, conversations about faith, prayer, etc.) while the other key element will be building a relationship and having fun together. 

Monthly Youth Activities: Youth are invited to participate in monthly activities focused on having fun and developing relationships with each other.  Youth who request it will also be contacted by phone or email with updates.  Family and Mentor Dinners: Each quarter youth, families, and mentors will be invited to join a dinner and game night.  During dinner we will have discussions around a certain topic.  The topics will be chosen based on the questions or themes developing in the mentoring time.  The dinner discussion around a topic is building off of the confirmation dinner exploring what it means to join the church. 

Operation Nightwatch: Youth are invited to participate in preparing or serving food with other members of the congregation at Operation Nightwatch the 2nd Friday of every month.  Families are welcome as well.
