PASTOR, ANDREA CHAUMONT

The Rev. Andrea Chaumont has served MBPPC as Transitional Pastor since October 1, 2025. Andrea has served congregations in Paris, France, New Jersey, and Seattle. A native Californian, she still misses the sun in the winter time but has made her home here in the Pacific Northwest. She lives with her French husband Jean and two energetic girls who keep her on her toes. Jean and Andrea started the Lake Forest Park Jazz Vespers community which met from 2019 - 2023 in Lake Forest Park, WA. When she is not about her work at MBPPC, Andrea enjoys reading, trying out new restaurants and walking outdoors.

PASTOR-elect, benjamin “ben” drew

For Benjamin Drew, ministry has always been close to home. Growing up in a family of ministers and educators, his faith took root early and blossomed through music, service, and leadership in his church youth group. From youth ministry in Chicago to church planting in Portland, Benjamin has followed God's call with a heart for people and a passion for building meaningful connections. Now completing his studies at Princeton Theological Seminary, he brings a warm, thoughtful, and collaborative spirit to ministry. Benjamin loves bringing people together, exploring Scripture, and finding creative ways to put faith into action. When he's not serving or studying, you'll likely find him hiking, cycling, cooking something delicious, or enjoying a board game with friends. He's excited to become part of the MBPPC family and discover all that God has in store for this new chapter together.

OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR, JAN CARROLL

Jan Carroll is a native Texan who enjoys life in the Pacific Northwest and brings more than 30 years of experience in executive administration, operations, organizational leadership, and strategic support. A licensed minister with the spiritual gift of administration, she is passionate about serving others, creating order, and helping organizations fulfill their mission with excellence and integrity. Outside of work and ministry, Jan enjoys traveling, reading, spending time with family and friends, and embracing life with faith, gratitude, adventure, and laughter.

DIRECTOR OF MUSIC MINISTRIES, TIMOTHY BEGGS

Timothy Beggs brings a rich background in sacred music, instrumental performance, and choral leadership to his role as Director of Music Ministries at Mt. Baker Park Presbyterian Church. An accomplished organist, pianist, and violist, Tim has devoted much of his musical journey to enriching worship and bringing people together through music. His experience includes serving as Dean of the Seattle Chapter of the American Guild of Organists, reflecting his commitment to musical excellence and collaboration. At Mt. Baker Park, Tim shares his passion for music through thoughtful worship leadership and his direction of the Chancel Choir, helping create meaningful opportunities for the congregation to experience faith, fellowship, and inspiration through music.
