Operation Sandwich
Operation Sandwich began in 2018 when our congregation put together 95 sandwiches for the Rainier Valley Food Bank one week and continued for some years on a weekly basis.
Since then we have transitioned to twice a month putting out 200 sandwiches per gathering. The accolades and gratitude from RVFB have been seamless and consistent. They really appreciate the efforts of MBPPC in their cause.
If you would like to participate, we meet on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month after the worship service, in the basement kitchen with our production line of love. It is neat to see. With Session’s guidance, this ministry is independently financed by angels within our church community.
