I Samuel 8:4-18

This Sunday’s Scripture reading is I Samuel 8:4-18. Tucked away in this book is the origin of so many of the Israelites’ troubles, and its disastrous history of unethical, unfaithful, and abusive kings. And the amazing this is that God encouraged Samuel to get the ball rolling!
