A Message from Pastor Andrea Chaumont

Dear Friends,

This Sunday after the worship service, we will have a congregational meeting led by myself and the clerk of Session. The nominating committee has met and discerned a slate of deacons and elders. The deacon nominees are Joan Stob, Lydia Hungate, Megan Gaiser and Gary Tatterson. The elder nominee is Mike Stob who is currently the Clerk of Session and is re-upping for a year. Please plan to attend the meeting after the service June 14th. 

Also, we have a special Sunday planned this week, “What my faith means to me,” where three members of our congregation will share what their faith means to them in lieu of my sermon. I am looking forward to hearing personal stories of God’s work in the lives of our fellow congregants. The following Sunday, June 21, we will resume our study in Genesis. 

This Saturday, MBPPC is honoring the life of Lois Edwards. Her funeral service will be on June 13th in our sanctuary at 2pm. You are all invited to come and remember Lois’ life. 

Please come by the office when you can to welcome Theresa, our new Office Administrator. Theresa has been working with Clare this week to get the feel for the office and we are so glad to have her on board!
