What My Faith Means to Me

I know that we all miss Pastor Lee Seese’s weekly messages in our newsletter.

Our hard-working and creative church Secretary and new member, Clare Conrad, had an inspired idea.

Why don’t we incorporate a message from a person in our church family about their Faith and Hope in each week’s newsletter?

As many of you may remember, we used to have a moment at the end of each Sunday service where anyone could come up to the Lectern and share their experiences and thoughts.

"What my Faith Means to Me” was an inspiring and loving moment that drew us closer together.

Clare and I thought that perhaps this would work in letter form just as well, and maybe even better!

So I’ll start…

At church last Sunday, two of our youngest congregants showed me that they love our church and feel comfortable being themselves among us.

During Rev. Eliana Maxim’s excellent sermon, we had one young aviator visit his Mom with excitement and exuberance and a paper airplane.

He felt confident to visit her during the adult time, because, as Lee always reminded us, Jesus made even the youngest welcome participants in our shared Joy.

Then, during our church announcement time, "Coffee Hour”  was plugged with menu specifics and welcoming words by one of our pre-teen faithful.

He’s already leading us with Love!

Seeing these beautiful young people gives me Faith and Hope for our future at MBPPC.

God Bless Us Everyone!
