A Message from Pastor Andrea Chaumont

Dear MBPPC,

Please welcome Rev. Heather James! She will be filling in for me while I am on medical leave the next two weeks. Heather will work half time (20 hrs. week) as she serves another congregation half time, Chapel by the Sea. Her in person office days will be Tuesday and Sunday and she will continue to lead staff meetings on Tuesday mornings at 10:30am. I know you will enjoy having her around as she is a wise and gifted leader.

I will be back May 4th, but working from home since I am not yet able to drive. Please reach out to me via, e-mail or on my google number during the weeks of May 4th and May 11th. I look forward to being in worship with you on May 10th.

Upcoming dates to be aware of:

Pastor Andrea is on vacation April 13th - 19th and Rev. Kim Crispeno will preach again at MBPPC on April 19th on Psalm 116. The title of her sermon is “Payback.” 

Andrea is on medical leave April 21 - May 3 and again from June 2 - June 14th for two different surgeries. 

During that time the Session has voted to have Rev. Heather James serve as the head of staff and lead worship at MBPPC. Rev. Heather James, an ordained pastor in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). She provides leadership and consultation for organizations and congregations in times of change. In addition to her work in transitional ministry, Heather works as a Senior Consultant for AE Sloan Leadership.
